Jimmy G’s BBQ specializes in handcrafted BBQ: Texas Beef Brisket, Savory Pulled Pork and Kansas City Style Pork Spare Ribs and presents BBQ in a way that is absolutely unique. My relentless pursuit for authenticity and creativity has resulted in a line of gourmet sandwiches that unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before! While it’s not possible to have all of these sandwiches on the food truck as they are in my restaurant, I do offer a sampling of some of the more popular ones:
The Three Little Pigs features my handcrafted bacon, pulled pork and twice-smoked ham, with Swiss on an Onion Bun along with two of my sauces: Savannah Sweet and my Gourmet Pesto Aioli.
Brisket Burgers: I grind my own beef using whole beef muscle from Tanks Meats and my fresh brisket trimmings, and infuse my Smoked Beef Brisket. This 6-ounce burger is offered with my Gourmet Pesto Aioli, lettuce and tomato on a Brioche; options include handcrafted bacon and a cheddar skirt!
Jimmy G’s BBQ happened by accident. I started doing BBQ through my church to show kindness and build community in Fremont. It caught on like wildfire and people urged me to open a restaurant. That happened in November 2012. While we’re on a fast pace of growth, we draw people from a considerable distance; I got the food truck in 2015 to be able to take my food to where people are.
Jimmy G’s BBQ does catering with and without our food truck: weddings, parties, reunions, and events. None is too big or too small.
